List of Status.net Sites

Status.net (formerly laconi.ca) is an open source program that micro blogging sites similar to Twitter. The most well know status.net site is identi.ca. Because the status.net software is open source there are alot of site powered by it. Some have a pretty high Page Rank and can provide nice backlink.

Although there are a lot of status.net sites I wouldn’t waste much time on any of them other than identi.ca unless you find one with a high PR in your niche. Many of them are unstable and may not be around tomorrow.
